Praveen Suthrum is an entrepreneur and healthcare futurist. He cofounded NextServices, a company that helps healthcare businesses thrive through better operations and technology. He has an engineering degree from Manipal Institute of Technology and an MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
He serves on the board of Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Centre, one of the largest VC-funded diabetic chains in India. Previously, he served as the Chairman of the Michigan Ross Alumni Board of Governors.
Dr. Sklar joined Digestive Disease Medicine in 1993 with a patient focus on gastroenterology and hepatology.
He received his Bachelors degree in Psychobiology from Hamilton College in 1984 before pursuing his Medical Degree at New York University School of Medicine, graduating in 1988. Dr. Sklar completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his Fellowship, at New York University.
Dr. Sklar holds his license to practice in the State of New York and is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Gastroenterology Association, Medical Society of New York, and the American College of Gastroenterology. He has completed numerous research activities and co- published several articles over a period of 9 years.
He is a senior partner at Digestive Disease Medicine and an active staff member at Faxton-St, Luke’s Healthcare and St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
